The Forefront has learnt that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday, sent an invitation to former spokesperson of Goodluck Jonathan’s Presidential Campaign Organization and erstwhile Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.

The EFCC, in a letter, sent to Fani-Kayode’s Abuja residence, demanded his presence in their Abuja office by 10.00am on Monday, May 9, 2016, to explain his role in the presidential campaign funds of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 presidential elections.
FFK earlier this week affirmed he was not hiding from the EFCC as he is not a coward. 

In response to the EFCC, FFK wrote a letter through his lawyer stating that he would duely honour the invitation.

NIGERIA - Military arrest 16 suspected oil pipeline vandals in Delta State



To check incessant attacks on the country’s oil pipeline, the Joint Military Force (JMF) in the Niger Delta said it had arrested 16 suspects who allegedly vandalised pipelines and engaged in illegal bunkering in Delta.
Col. Isa Ado, spokesman of Operation Pulo Shield, the task force, made this knownat a news conference at the 222 Battalion Headquarters in Ughelli in Delta on Friday.
